I read a great article and I wanted to share some of the highlights with you all. It talks about the sacrifices that all great Actors have to make to achieve their dreams. For example…Barbra Streisand, Dennis Hopper and Danny Glover all cleaned toilets in order to pay for acting classes! The point isn’t clean toilets to become an Actor; the point is in order to have longevity in this business, you must have exceptional work ethics.

You must also know yourself. To paraphrase the renowned choreographer Martha Graham – “There is only one of you in all time and if you don’t express your uniqueness you have cheated the world of the specialness that is you.”

Learn your craft. Yes, there are those who through notoriety or infamy are thrown in the spotlight, or those who are eager for fame, but they are not Actors. They are simply looking to make a quick buck. Simply put, it doesn’t matter how good you were in your high school production of “Grease”, when you’re in the arena of professionals, you must know your craft.

Remember, your dreams are attainable, you just have to do whatever is necessary to achieve them!
